Mumbai: Sensex closed on November 4, 2019, at 136.93 points higher at 40,301.96. Similarly, Nifty ended 50.70 points up at 11,941.30.
Tata Steel, Vedanta and ONGC were among the top gainers today.
YES Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, TCS and Tata Motors were among the top losers today.
In the previous season on Friday, Sensex closed at 35.98 points higher at 40,165.03. Similarly, Nifty ended 13.15 points up at 11,890.60.
The rupee is trading at 70.697 against the dollar.
