Azamgarh: The Kisan cooperative sugar mill has decided to install CCTV cameras at the cane purchasing centres to ensure that all the activities are recorded under CCTV cameras and the process conducted in a fair way. The mill will start crushing from November 15. The decision was taken in a meeting organized on Sunday.
DM Singh asked the mill administration to set up CCTV cameras at all the 41 cane collection centres and record all the activities from the centre. He asked them to prepare CD of all the recordings after 15 days for further reference. He asked them to provide receipts to farmers and maintain transparency.
The mill has set a target of crushing 50 lakh quintal cane and to produce 5.20 lakh quintal sugar.
