Andhra Pradesh government mulls to revive cooperative sugar mills

Chittoor: Andhra Pradesh government is mulling to revive ten cooperative sick sugar mills in the state, said Industries Minister M Goutham Reddy. The revival will be done in a phased manner.

Reddy informed that Renigunta Cooperative Sugar Factory will be revived in the first phase followed by Chittoor Cooperative Sugar factory, Reddy.

“The TDP government is responsible for the unfortunate situation of sugar mills in the state and revival plan of the defunct sugar mills is being done as per the promise made by Jagan Mohan Reddy,” he further added.
