Mumbai: Sensex closed on December 6, 2019, at 334.44 points lower at 40,445.15. Similarly, Nifty ended 96.90 points down at 11,921.50.
Bharti Infratel, Kotak Mahindra Bank, JSW Steel, Tata Steel and Dr Reddys were among the top gainers today on Nifty. While Yes Bank, SBI, Zee Entertainment, IndusInd Bank and GAIL were among the top losers today.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on December 5, 2019, at 70.70 points lower at 40,779.59. Similarly, Nifty ended 24.80 points down at 12,018.40.
The rupee is trading at 71.329 against the dollar.
