Mumbai: Sensex closed on December 23, 2019, at 38.88 points higher at 41,642.66 Similarly, Nifty ended 9.05 points up at 12,262.75.
Zee Entertainment, Vedanta, Dr Reddys Laboratories, Maruti Suzuki and Hero Motocorp were among the top gainers today on Nifty. While Yes Bank, Nestle India, Reliance Industries, SBI and Coal India were among the top losers today.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on December 20, 2019, at 7.62 points higher at 41,681.54 Similarly, Nifty ended 12.10 points up at 12,271.80.
The rupee is trading at 71.162 against the dollar.
