Mumbai: Sensex today on January 6 was trading 376.66 points lower at 41,087.95. Similarly Nifty was trading 109.60 points down at 12,117.05.
Similarly, at 10:15 am, Sensex was trading at 41,002.49 points, and Nifty was trading at 12,087.80 points.
Titan, TCS, HCL Tech, Infosys and Tech Mahindra were the top gainer in the Sensex pack. SBI, Asian Paints, PowerGrid, Maruti, Mahindra and Mahindra, Tata Steel, NTPC, ICICI Bank and HDFC were among the top losers today.
On the currency front, the rupee depreciated 25 paise to 72.05 against the US dollar in the morning session.
