Mumbai: Sensex today on January 31, 2020 was trading 168.91 points higher at 41,082.73. Similarly NSE Nifty was trading 39.35 points up at 12,075.15.
Similarly, at 10:12 am, Sensex was trading at 40,996.49 points, whereas Nifty was trading at 12,046.65.
Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bajaj Auto, IndusInd Bank, M&M, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Finance and Bharti Airtel were the top gainer in the Sensex pack. On the other hand, PowerGrid, ONGC, HCL Tech, NTPC and TCS were among the top losers.
On the currency front, the rupee appreciated 12 paise to 71.45 against the US dollar in morning session.
