Mumbai: Sensex today on February 05 was trading 115.08 points higher at 40,904.46. Similarly NSE Nifty was trading 26.15 points high at 12,005.80.
Similarly, at 10:20 am, Sensex was trading at 40,949.63 points, whereas Nifty was trading at 12,027.85.
Mahindra and Mahindra, Bajaj Auto, Bharti Airtel, HCL Tech and L&T were the top gainers in the Sensex pack. On the other hand, ITC, Infosys, Hero MotoCorp, Asian Paints, Titan, UltraTech Cement and HDFC were among the top losers.
On the currency front, the rupee appreciated 4 paise to 71.21 against the US dollar in morning session.
