Mumbai: Sensex closed on February 05 at 353.28 points higher at 41,142.66. Similarly, Nifty ended 109.50 points up at 12,089.15.
Tata Motors and YES Bank are the top gainers while Hero MotoCorp and Power Grid are the top drags.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on February 04 at 917.07 points higher at 40,789.38. Similarly, Nifty ended 271.75 points up at 11,979.65. The rupee is trading at 71.233 against the dollar.
