Mumbai: Sensex closed on March 5, 2020 at 61.13 points higher at 38,470.61. Similarly, Nifty ended 18.00 points high at 11,269.00.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on March 4, 2020 at 214.22 points lower at 38,409.48. Similarly, Nifty ended 49.10 points low at 11,254.20.
Yes Bank, Eicher Motors, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HCL Tech and TCS were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Zee Entertainment, Hindalco, Bharti Infratel, Vedanta and Reliance Industries.
The rupee is trading at 73.155 against the dollar.
