Mumbai: Sensex closed on March 11, 2020 at 62.45 points higher at 35,697.40. Similarly, Nifty ended 6.95 points high at 10,458.40.
In the previous season, The market was badly hit as Sensex closed on March 9, 2020 at 1,941.67 points lower at 35,634.95. Similarly, Nifty ended 538.00 points low at 10,451.45.
Yes Bank, Zee Entertainment, Bharti Infratel, Coal India and Hero MotoCorp were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were GAIL, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank and BPCL.
The rupee is trading at 73.708 against the dollar.
