New Delhi, 26th March 2020: In a notification issued on the 26th day of March 2020, the food ministry has allocated 18 LMT monthly sugar quota for April to each of 545 mills in India.
The Government has announced 18 LMT Monthly Sugar Quota for Sale in April 2020 which is -14.76% lower quota compared to the last month’s sugar quota of March 2020 which stood at 21 LMT.
The statewise quota for April 2020 is as follows: Andhra Pradesh 26268 MT, Bihar 56549 MT, Chhattisgarh 4628 MT, Goa 0 MT, Gujarat 54766 MT, Haryana 35357 MT, Karnataka 203655 MT, Madhya Pradesh 28368 MT, Maharashtra 534799 MT, Orissa 184 MT, Punjab 45573 MT, Rajasthan 818 MT, Tamil Nadu 33759 MT, Telangana 5363 MT, Uttar Pradesh 734215 MT, Uttarakhand 29818 MT.
