Mumbai: Sensex closed on April 24, 2020 at 535.86 points lower at 31,327.22. Nifty ended 159.50 points down at 9,154.40.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on April 23, 2020 at 483.53 points higher at 31,863.08. Nifty ended 127 points up at 9,313.90.
Bajaj Finance, Bharti Infratel, Zee Entertainment, Bajaj Finserv and Hindalco were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers included Reliance Industries, Britannia Industries, Cipla, Sun Pharma and Hero MotoCorp.
