Sangamner: A fire broke out at the Utech sugar mill based in Sangamner taluka of Ahmednagar district on Saturday afternoon. In the incident, sugar stored in the warehouse is damaged along with other times. Fire tenders were deployed at the spot immediately and they managed to douse the fire in few hours.
According to the media reports, a short circuit is cited as a reason behind the fire. The damage is estimated in crores.
One week ago, also fire incident had occurred in Palwal based sugar mill’s warehouse in Haryana. In which, the mill has suffered a huge loss in this incident.
