Mumbai: Sensex closed on May 08, 2020 at 199.32 points higher at 31,642.70. Nifty ended 52.45 points up at 9,251.50.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on May 07, 2020 at 242.37 points lower at 31,443.38. Nifty ended 71.85 points down at 9,199.05.
HUL, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Tech Mahindra, Nestle and Sun Pharma were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included M&M, Axis Bank, NTPC, SBI and IndusInd Bank.
