Mumbai: Sensex closed on May 19, 2020 at 167.19 points higher at 30,196.17. Nifty ended 55.85 points up at 8,879.10.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on May 18, 2020 at 1,068.75 points lower at 30,028.98. Nifty ended 303.75 points down at 8,833.10.
Bharti Airtel, Adani Ports, ONGC, Bharti Infratel and UltraTech Cement were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were UPL, Vedanta, IndusInd Bank, Reliance Industries and L&T.
