Moradabad: Triveni Engineering and industries Rani Nangal unit completed the sugarcane crushing on Tuesday.
Despite Corona threat, the mill continued crushing season and ensured that all the sugarcane grown in the region is being crushed before shutting the mill for this season.
At the middle of the crushing season in Uttar Pradesh, the government imposed lockdown to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic. This affected the operations of many mills in India. The mill officials ensured that all the cane harvesters and employees from the mill follow social distancing norms and government guidelines and completed the cane crushing.
Sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh are in the last phase of the season. The state has also produced record sugar production this season.
