Dhampur: District cane Officer Yashpal Singh has appealed the sugarcane farmers to be present in their fields when a team of government officials visit their fields for a survey.
He visited Ballashrpur village on Monday with the team of Sugarcane department and inspected the cane survey work. During his visit, he asked the farmers to be present in the fields and ensure that the officials conduct a proper survey of their agricultural land.
Sugarcane crushing season is in the last phase in Uttar Pradesh. Just very few mills are still operating in the state. In this season, mills in the state registered record sugar production.
