Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers under the banner of Rashtriya Lok Dal met Modinagar SDM Aditya Prajapati and demanded the pending cane arrears.
According to the news report published in Amar Ujala, SDM assured the farmers that their grievances will be conveyed to the higher authorities for appropriate action on their demand.
Farmers said that they are facing a financial crisis due to coronavirus pandemic and have no money to support their families. They asked sugar mills to clear pending cane arrears.
