Yamunanagar, Haryana: Sugarcane farmers associated with Saraswati Sugar Mills, Yamunanagar got relief as the state government has released the subsidy of Rs 16.8 crore. It will be paid to cane growers associated with the sugar mill.
The sugar mill management has submitted the details of sugarcane farmers to the central cooperative Bank, Yamunanagar, which will transfer the payment in farmers’ accounts through direct benefit transfer.
According to the news report published in Tribuneindia.com,the subsidy released was due from February till April this year, but the payment of about Rs 3.25 crore pending for May is yet to be released.
