Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Monday. Sensex closed on August 10, 2020 at 141.51 points higher at 38,182.08. Nifty ended 56.10 points high at 11,270.15.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on August 07, 2020 at 15.12 points higher at 38,040.57. Nifty ended 13.90 points high at 11,214.05.
Cipla, L&T, M&M, Tata Motors and Sun Pharma were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Eicher Motors, Asian Paints, Maruti Suzuki, BPCl and Reliance Industries.
