Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Tuesday. Sensex closed on August 11, 2020 at 224.93 points higher at 38,407.01. Nifty ended 52.35 points high at 11,322.50.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on August 10, 2020 at 141.51 points higher at 38,182.08. Nifty ended 56.10 points high at 11,270.15.
Zee Entertainment, Axis Bank, JSW Steel, BPCL and IndusInd Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Shree Cements, Titan Company, UPL, Dr Reddy’s Labs and Cipla.
