Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended lower on Thursday. Sensex closed on August 13, 2020 at 59.14 points lower at 38,310.49. Nifty ended 7.95 points low at 11,300.45.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on August 12, 2020 at 37.38 points lower at 38,369.63. Nifty ended 14.10 points low at 11,308.40.
Eicher Motors, Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel, NTPC and HDFC Life were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers included Tata Motors, Hindalco, L&T, Titan Company and Bharti Infratel.
