Meerut, Uttar Pradesh: All the sugar mills of the district will be operational by November 6. According to the news report published Amarujala.com, District cane officer Dr Dushyant Kumar said the Kinauni sugar mill will start operations from November 1, Daraula, Nanglamal and Mawana sugar mills from November 2, Sakauti sugar mill from November 5 and Mohiuddinpur mill will start operations from November 6.
Sugarcane department has also issued instructions to the sugarcane farmers to not to burn stubble to avoid environmental pollution. Also it has asked the mills to ensure that they are well prepared to tackle any unavoidable situation during the crushing season.
