Rayadurg (Anantapur): Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to participate virtually in the groundbreaking ceremony (“bhumi puja”) for the establishment of an Ethanol distillery plant valued at Rs 544 crore on October 4, reported The Hans India.
The ethanol plant will be based on the utilization of maize and rice husks and is located in Jajarakallu village within the Hirehal mandal of Rayadurg constituency.
Joining the Chief Minister in virtual participation will be District Collector M Gautami and Joint Collector Kethan Garg. Eco Steel India Private Limited, a part of the Navadurga group, will set up this ambitious plant across an expansive 30-acre area.
The project is expected to provide direct employment opportunities to approximately 500 individuals, with the potential to generate hundreds of additional indirect job opportunities. The foundation stone for this significant undertaking will be laid virtually from Vijayawada on October 4, with the coordination of the event being overseen by Industries GM Nagaraja Rao.
The establishment of this Ethanol distillery plant represents a significant step towards boosting economic growth and creating employment opportunities in the region.
