The Andhra Sugars Ltd informed exchange that New Salicylic Acid Plant of 2,640 TPA at Tanuku location has been successfully commissioned and commenced its commercial operations on March 27, 2024.
Andhra Sugars Ltd., incorporated in 1947, is engaged in the manufacture and sale of sugar, Organic and Inorganic Chemcials. Company has diversified operations by setting up a Chemicals & Fertilizer division in 1960 at Kovvur. It is now producing different chemicals which go as basic building blocks to a host of industries like Pharmaceuticals, paper, textiles, pesticides, water treatment etc.
