Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh: To ensure smooth supply of sugarcane, an awareness campaign has been initiated by the Sugarcane Department, urging farmers to fill online declarations. Without the declaration, farmers will not be able to supply sugarcane, reports Live Hindustan.
They have stated that the farmers will not be able to supply their cane to the mills without submitting a declaration form. Sugar mills in the district have completed the survey of the cane that would be ready for crushing for the next season. All the sugar mills in the district including HL Sugar Mill, Pilibhit, The Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill, Puranpur, The Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill, Bisalpur and Bajaj Hindustan Ltd, Barkhera have started preparations to take up crushing operations for next season.
