Bisalpur: The crushing season at Bajaj Hindustan Sugar Mill, Barkhera ended on Sunday night after crushing all the sugarcane in the region, reported Amar Ujala.
The mill crushed 57.21 lakh quintals of sugarcane during this season.
The crushing season at sugar mill started in October. The mill purchased sugarcane from 50 centers.
Before the end of the crushing season, the mill authorities had informed the District Cane Officer, Dr. Khushiram Bhargava, that all the sugarcane in their area had been exhausted. The District Cane Officer surveyed the entire area, which showed that there was no sugarcane left in the Barkheda area. He then permitted the mill administration to close the crushing season.
