Bareilly: Uttar Pradesh government want to ensure 100 per cent cane payment ahead of upcoming crushing season. Therefore, district administration is also urging mills to make full payment to sugarcane farmers.
Commissioner Selva Kumari has asked the sugar mills to clear pending cane dues and warned of strict action if they fail to do so, reports Live Hindustan.
She has asked the concerned authorities to ensure that the mill administrations take steps to clear pending cane dues immediately. Kumari also reviewed the ongoing preparations by the sugar mills to commence upcoming crushing season.
