Bijnor: The sugarcane crushing season at Uttam Sugar Mill in Barkatpur concluded on April 14th. Narpat Singh, the Joint President, extended his best wishes to officials, employees, and farmers on the successful completion of the sugar mill’s operations, reported Amar Ujala.
The crushing season at Uttam Sugar Mill in Barkatpur for 2023-24 ended late on Sunday evening. Narpat Singh, the Joint President of the sugar mill, stated that the mill processed 1.23 crore quintals of sugarcane during the crushing season of 2023-24.
In the previous crushing season of 2022-23, the mill processed 1.62 crore quintals of sugarcane.
Narpat Singh, the Joint President, and Vikas Pundir, the Sugarcane Administrator, emphasized that sugarcane payments to farmers are being prioritized. They expressed gratitude to the farmers for their cooperation with the mill management.
