BCL Industries bags tender to supply ethanol worth Rs 134.87 crore to OMCs

BCL Industries Limited, along with its subsidiary Svaksha Distillery Limited, has secured an additional order to supply 23,054 kiloliters (KL) of ethanol to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs). This order is part of a tender issued in January 2025 for ethanol distribution at various locations across India. The total value of the order is Rs. 134.87 crore, with the ethanol being produced from FCI rice.

The company informed exchanges in a filing today that BCL Industries Limited along with its subsidiary M/s. Svaksha Distillery Limited had participated in a tender floated by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) in January 2025 for the supply of ethanol at their various locations across the country. The Company along with its subsidiary, in its normal course of business, has been allocated with additional quantity of 23,054 KL of Ethanol to be supplied against FCI rice as raw material.

Details of the allocation are given below:

BCL Industries Limited: 14,302 KL of ethanol, valued at Rs. 83.67 crore, utilizing 31,750 metric tons (MT) of FCI rice.

Svaksha Distillery Limited: 8,752 KL of ethanol, valued at Rs. 51.20 crore, utilizing 19,429 MT of FCI rice.

This new order adds to the previously awarded 182,485 KL of ethanol in October 2024. The company’s growing role in meeting the country’s rising ethanol demand strengthens its position in the industry.
