Bhartiya Kisan Union’s Charuni faction asks farmers to remain united

Ambala: Farmers leader and national president of Bhartiya Kisan Union’s Charuni faction, Gurnam Singh Charuni has appealed to farmers to remain united if they want the government to accept their demands in the future.

Charuni faction also demanded the government to fix sugarcane price at Rs 450 per quintal, reports Hindustan Times.

He was speaking at a rally organised at the grain market on NH-44 near Mohra village in Ambala Cantonment. After the rally, the delegation of farmers submitted a memorandum to deputy commissioner Priyanka Soni.
Soni said that the demand letter from farmers would be sent to the government at the earliest.
