Bijnor: Bhilai sugar mill will start selling one quintal sugar to the cane farmers against the pending cane dues. Sugarcane and Sugar commissioner had directed the mill to sell one quintal sugar per month to the sugarcane farmers as a part of the pending cane dues. Following this direction the mill has begun selling sugar to the farmers from January. The payment of the sugar will be adjusted with the pending cane dues the mill owes to the cane farmers.
Paropkar Sinh, chief manager of the mill said that the mill will provide the sugar to the farmers at market rate. More than 37,000 farmers are associated with the mill and the mill will sell one quintal per farmer per month.
