Kawardha: Bhoramdev cooperative sugar mill has shown an increase in the recovery rate during the ongoing crushing season compared to the last crushing season, reports Dainik Bhaskar.
Mill has produced 11.37 kg sugar by crushing 1-tonne sugarcane. The sugar recovery rate is increased by 0.10 per cent this season.
The sugar mill administration attributes the increase in recovery rate to the cane farmers that are sending quality cane to the mill for crushing.
Compared to the last few years, the recovery rate of the Bhoramdev sugar mill is good this season.
The factory has recorded a 9.3% recovery rate in 2019-20 and it was increased to 11.21% in the 2020-21 season. For the 2021-22 season the factory has recorded a recovery rate of 11.37%.
The increase in recovery rate will benefit the sugarcane farmers said the officials associated with the sugar mill.
