Bihar: MP Pappu Yadav assures to open Banmankhi sugar mill

Purnea: A felicitation ceremony was organized by the Marwari community of Banmankhi to honour Pappu Yadav, the newly elected Member of Parliament from Purnia. During the event, he mentioned his plan to set up Banmankhi sugar mill within a year, for which he has already spoken with industrialist in Delhi. He remarked that the closure of the sugar mill has dimmed Banmankhi’s vibrancy, reported Jagran.

During the event, the Marwari community members welcomed MP Pappu Yadav with floral garlands, and he graciously accepted their greetings.

In his address, the MP stated that during the election, he had promised the people of Purnia that he would eliminate bribery from blocks, circles, police stations, hospitals, and other places within three months. He affirmed that work on this promise began the day the election results were announced. He warned that if bribery is not eradicated within the stipulated three months, there will be a major upheaval in Purnia.

Yadav expressed his ambition to meet the Chief Minister to discuss these issues.

The event was attended by several notable figures including Council Representative Naresh Yadav, Kalu Agrawal, Fanti Agrawal, Gaurav Dokania, Roshan Agrawal, Gopal Singh, Alok Akela, Nishant Singh Nishu, and Natwar Jha.
