Patna: Now, there is no hope for re-opening of Motihari Sugar Mill in Bihar as state Sugarcane Minister Pramod Kumar has asked the district administration to estimate its asset for sell to pay off dues of workers and cane growers.
According to the news report published in newsclick.in, the official said, “Kumar has cleared that it was not possible to revive the sugar mill. In a recent meeting, he has asked the district administration to take a review of the closed Motihari sugar mill, Kalyanpur sugar refinery and Chakiya sugar mill.”
“He has asked the administration to table the report regarding the mill and the pending cane dues of the farmers within 15 days,” an official said.
