Patna: Bihar is becoming the favourite destination for ethanol producers as the state has received maximum proposals for investment in this sector in the last four to five years, reports Live Hindustan.
As per media report, the government has granted permission to ethanol projects costing around Rs 32,454 crore. This is around 57 per cent of the total investment proposals in the state. The ethanol sector is likely to change the face of Bihar and will generate thousands of jobs for youths in the state.
Bihar is welcoming investors and providing a favourable ecosystem for businesses to be set up and flourish. Ethanol policy in Bihar has attracted the investors to invest in the state. Also, Bihar was the first state to launch an ethanol policy.
