The state government has received investment proposals of Rs 39,000 crore, a vast majority of which are connected to ethanol production, said Minister for Industries in Bihar, Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, reports The Hindu.
He was speaking at an investor’s meeting organised by the Department of Industries, Bihar on Saturday.
As per press release, The minister said that Bihar is welcoming investors and is providing a favourable ecosystem for businesses to be set up and flourish. The land lease rates in the industrial areas have been reduced from 80% to 20% which would further speed up the pace of industrialization of Bihar.
