Gopalganj: Bihar Commissioner Anil Kumar Jha inspected the Bharat Sugar Mill in Sidhwalia, along with its distillery factory, and the seed production area of Vishnu Sugar Mill in Gopalganj. The commissioner engaged in discussions with sugar mill officials to address the development of sugarcane and find solutions to the challenges faced by farmers, reports Live Hindustan.
During his visit, Jha toured the region and provided detailed information to sugarcane farmers about the Chief Minister’s Sugarcane Development Scheme. He also took the time to listen to the farmers’ grievances and issued directives to the sugar mill management to resolve these issues.
In addition, the Cane Commissioner inaugurated the trench method of sugarcane planting in Danapur, Manjha block, by cutting a ribbon at the plot of farmer Jumrati Khan, officially launching this agricultural practice in the area.
