Motihari: Krishnanandan Paswan, Minister of Sugarcane Industries in Bihar, has assured that the government is working to ensure timely payment of sugarcane dues to farmers, reported Live Hindustan.
The Minister said that instructions have been issued to all sugar mills in the state to encourage sugarcane farmers to increase sugarcane production. Mills should train the farmers from time to time in modern methods of sugarcane cultivation. Training work is being done and the sugarcane farmers of the state will now be advanced in terms of production. They will not face any difficulty from sugarcane planting to sugarcane supply to the mill.
He said that Champaran has made a unique mark in sugarcane production. The farmers here are dedicated and hardworking, due to which the production is good.
