Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh: To raise awareness among farmers about the control of top borer pest in sugarcane, a campaign was run in the villages of the mill area under the leadership of GM Cane Rahul Chaudhary of Wave sugar mill Bijnor.
Chaudhary said on Monday that information is being provided on mechanical and chemical methods for saving sugarcane crops from top borer and the said work is being done in the fields of farmers.
The sugar mill is helping farmers for the control of other pests found in sugarcane.
