Meerut, Uttar Pradesh: Bhartiya Kisan Union Arajnaitik (BKU Arajnaitik) has raised the issue of pending cane dues at its monthly meeting held in the district, reports Live Hindustan.
Addressing the gathering, Vinod Jitauli, leader of the organization said, “Several sugar mills including Kinauni, Malakpur, Mohiuddinpur, Mawana, Simbhavali, and Brajnarhpur have not cleared cane dues of farmers but the government has not initiated action against them.”
A delegation of farmers later met Deputy Commissioner, Himanshu Gautam and submitted memorandum of their demands urging him to ensure that the mills clear pending cane dues.
