Najibabad, Uttar Pradesh: BKU, an organization fighting for farmers’ rights, has demanded that the Najibabad sugar mill should increase its crushing capacity. The organization alleged that despite the chief minister assured them to increase the capacity of the sugar mill, the mill continues with the existing capacity.
The farmers submitted a memorandum to the mill’s General Manager demanding that all sugarcane price be paid along with increase its crushing capacity.
They asked mill to increase crushing capacity from existing 3000 TCD to 5000 TCD as announced by CM.
