BKU warns of agitation over pending cane dues

Saharanpur: Bharatiya Kisan Union Arajnaitik (BKUA) has threatened to launch an agitation against the Bajaj Sugar Mill if it fails to clear the pending cane dues, reported Live Hindustan.

The decision was taken in a meeting that was held on Wednesday at the Muzaffarnagar block premises to discuss farmer-related issues.

In the meeting, the State President, Jagpal Singh, expressed his concerns about the fact that most of the eligible farmers did not get the facilities of the Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. He urged the administrative officials to take things seriously and do the needful to choose eligible farmers.

Prem Singh, Kulbir Singh, Surendra Kumar, Raju Panwar, Mahipal, Munish, Magan, Ankit and Chandrapal were present at the meeting.
