Mumbai: A four-storeyed building collapsed in Dongri in Mumbai on July 16. As many as 40 to 50 people are feared trapped under the debris. The incident took place around 11:40 am today.
After the incident, fire tenders and a team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) rushed to the spot.
Rescue operations are going on at the location. Due to the narrow lanes on Tandel street, rescue workers and JCB machines are finding it tough to reach the spot
According to the reports, many families were present inside the building at the time of the accident.
The area has many old buildings. The Kesarbai building which collapsed was already declared risky and unfit for use.
