Kosi Kalan, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers, under the banner of Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Mahasangh, have threatened to launch an agitation if Chhata sugar mill fails to commence in this season.
The organization held a meeting with farmers on Monday to discuss the issue.
The organization said, “Despite the promises, noo any decision has been taken regarding the sugar mill. If the government fails to make it operational after unlock, farmers will take to streets for their demand.” They gave warning and said if the sugar mill fails to start after unlock, then the farmers would come on the streets and agitate.
