Commissioner, Cane and Sugar, Shri Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy said that the Cane Supervisor of Baghpat, Mr. Sunil Kumar was pressurized by Yudhveer Singh, son of Mr. Anoop Singh a resident of village Dhikoli, along with 03 unknown persons, to register the Cane area on some bonds in a fake manner. When Mr. Sunil Kumar refused to act against the Government rules, Yudhveer Singh and 03 unidentified persons assaulted Mr. Sunil and tore Government records with threat to kill.
Taking cognizance of this case, the District Cane Officer, Baghpat was directed by the Commissioner, Cane and Sugar, Shri Bhoosreddy to take prompt action, after which an FIR was lodged against Shri Yudhveer Singh, resident of village Dhikoli and other 03 unknown persons in Kotwali district, Baghpat under sections 323, 332, 336, 427, 504, 506 of Indian Penal Code 1860 Act and action is being taken to cancel the membership of Society by closing the bonds of the guilty farmers.
In this regard, the Cane Commissioner clearly says that the officers and employees working in the Cane Development Department should discharge their duties fearlessly; no chaotic element or Cane mafia will be tolerated.
