Bijnor: Uttam Sugar Mill has expanded its distillery capacity from 150 kiloliters to 250 kiloliters, reported Amar Ujala.
The expansion was inaugurated by the mill’s managing director, Rajkumar Adalkha, by cutting a ribbon and pressing a button to start the unit.
The expansion ceremony was also attended by Pandit Rajendra Sharma and Pandit Kapil Sharma, who performed a puja and havan to mark the occasion.
Adalkha said that the expansion will boost investment in the state and create jobs. “The expansion will help the mill to produce more ethanol, which is a renewable source of energy,” he said.
