Government officials, state representatives, and industry stakeholders are scheduled to convene on January 16 for discussions aimed at enhancing India’s sugar exports, according to an official, reported Business Standard.
The meeting, chaired by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, will involve topics such as challenges related to rupee payments, global shipping needs, issues arising from the Red Sea crisis, and the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war and Israel-Hamas conflict on the uncertain global economic situation.
As per media report, the meeting will be chaired by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. They all are members of the Board of Trade (BoT).
