New Delhi, Jan 16 (PTI) Crude oil rose by Rs 29 to Rs 3,755 per barrel in futures market Wednesday as speculators indulged in creating speculative positions, taking positive cues from global markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for delivery in February was trading higher by Rs 29, or 0.78 per cent, at Rs 3,755 per barrel in a business turnover of 393 lots.
The oil for delivery in March was also trading higher by Rs 43, or 1.5 per cent, to Rs 3,793 in 11 lots.
Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate gained 21 cents, or 0.21 per cent, to USD 52.20, while global benchmark Brent was up 18 cents, or 0.30 per cent, to USD 60.81 a barrel.
